I guess I should plug our newest release of VSXu - 0.3.0. It's now been stable for a while and is so far a big improvement over older releases.
It also includes our real time art project - Luna:Reactivation and a whole bunch of audio reactive music visualizations, a node-based editor etc.

Jonatan "jaw" Wallmander (Vovoid) and Robert "CoR" Wenzel (Vovoid) will be attending Visualisation-Festival in Germany 18-20 December to meet VJs and visualisation artists/installation artists and teach our realtime visualisation / VJ tool VSXu.
The presentation will be in 3 parts and is expected to take 2-3 hours:
Part one: Introduction to the art of realtime graphics
Part two: VSXu and its features
Part three: QA, Installfest, Hands on
